15U Challengers took 2nd place in NLS/Cobras Tuneup tournament at Paul Revere with outstanding Overtime win.
It took an exciting overtime win in the last game to earn 2nd place. It was a great performance by the team. They girls deserve to be congratulated for an outstanding team effort, especially after bouncing back from a tough loss in a game that was very rough and physical. Coach Aguilar believes the team earned some respect from the last game and may have learned something about hanging tough, executing, and finishing a close game.
2007 BCI Nationals
Congratulations to our 13U Challengers for competing in the 2007 BCI Nationals. Despite the win/loss record, our main goal of providing our young players the opportunity to compete at the national level and learn from the experience was accomplished. Our girls gave it their all and played better at the end of the tournament ... and that's all we can ask for. This can only inspire them to work hard throughout the school year and look forward to going back next summer.

Challengers Select 18U reaches Consolation Championship at Cinco Ranch
Our newly formed 18U team debuts successfully by reaching Consolation Championship in Texas Elite Classic at Cinco Ranch. Perseverance does pay off..after trying since last spring to bring an 18U team together, Coach Aguilar finally managed to lure a group of 07 graduates to join younger 10th - 12th graders to play in select NCAA exposure events during the July NCAA recruiting period. And we are very happy for Denise ... she is finally rewarded for her loyalty to the Challengers and her passion to play ball. The team will operate on a tournament by tournament basis with players paying a tournament fee. Challengers Select 18U will play in two upcoming tournaments: MAYB H-Town Championships (Jull. 20-22) and a NCAA showcasse at the end of July, either DFW Elite Big Flava Showcase in Dallas or Tournament of Stars in Lake Charles, La. The team currently has 10 players, and the could add two or three more by the end of the month.
