	Mission
	Our Mission is to promote the rapid development of school-age girls that are dedicated to competitive basketball and aspire to play at the high school and college level. We will strive to inspire and empower our players to excel in basketball and in life through self-motivation, dedication, discipline, and desire.

The Houston Challengers is a girl's basketball organization founded in November of 1999 by Josie Aquilar. The first Challengers 14 and Under team took to the court in the Spring of 2000. Since then the Club has grown to three teams in 2003 and 2004. We are an established member Gulf District AAU Girls Basketball organization and active in BCI and Prime Time Sports basketball. We have progressively expanded and raised the competitive level of our teams in the 13U through 18U divisions.

Our team is named in memory of the Challenger Space Shuttle and her outstanding team of astronauts. We will forever carry their strength and courage.
